3 student trustees

Student Trustees for 2024 / 2025

(March 1, 2024) The Algoma District School Board (ADSB) approved the appointment of three new Student Trustees for the 2024/2025 school year. They are Addy McEachren from Chapleau High School, Cameron Ciotti from White Pines C&VS and Georgia-June Abel from White Pines C&VS as our Indigenous Student Trustee. All appointments become effective as of August 1, 2024.

(September 2024) Accidents can and do happen! Each year, many families are left financially unprotected when their children are injured at school, on field trips, while participating in non-school activities, or at home.

Modernizing Ontario Secondary School Diploma Requirements

(May 31, 2024) As announced on May 30, 2024, the Ministry of Education is modernizing Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requirements to ensure that students have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen pathways and continue to build a skilled workforce that strengthens Ontario’s economy and furthers its global competitive advantage.

Prince Charles Secondary School
Prince Charles Secondary School provides an opportunity for students unable to attend regular high school classes to complete their high school diploma. All classes are held at Prince Charles Secondary School, 550 Northern Ave. (across from Sault College).
Classes run from 10:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday.
Prince Charles Secondary School offers:
·       Independent learning
·       Personalized instruction
·       Self-paced learning
·       City bus passes to eligible students
·       A variety of high school credited courses
Student who are 16-20 years and not attending school can attend Prince Charles Secondary School.
Students enrolled at Prince Charles can also be timetable into regular school courses. For more information, contact your Guidance department or call Prince Charles at 705-945-7194. You can start any time!
